Update on us!

Family- We spent yesterday at our annual May get together with my family yesterday. We had a record breaking 27 people there! Mostly my family with the addition of my cousin's girlfriend, another cousins boyfriend, another cousins fiance, and another cousins best friend. We attempted to get the first picture of the three greatgrandbabies together. It was rough and figures that the oldest was the hardest to get to sit still. I'm attaching some pictures of that.

Nathan with my grandmother his great grandmother!

I hear he giggled during this shot!

Kisses for my cousin Kyle! Brian loves him!

Going through the doggy door!

We also got a grill last nite. Dean loves to grill but we haven't gotten around to picking out a grill. I'm glad we have it since that means less I have to cook!

Nathan- He is pushing up now and rolling! (video at the end) At his 9 week appointment I asked his doctor about his strength since he was much further behind than Brian was at this age. At 9 weeks he wasn't lifting his head at all. Somehow by 10 weeks he was pushing up really really well! At 11 weeks he was rolling over! It seems like just overnight he went from weakling to superman! So proud of my little man. Unfortunately it means he is no longer safe on the couch. Little did he know, he was much safer up on the couch than on the floor with his brother.

Brian- He is still working on adding more words to his vocabulary. His newest word is "dude". Thanks to his aunts. It's pretty cute! I'll see if I can get a better video and show it next post.
He's also starting to learn how to help Mommy. He's learned to pick up his toys and we do that every night before bed. He throws his dirty clothes into the hamper at the end of the day too.

Dean- He came home on Monday. We were very glad to have him back! Brian finger painted a welcome home sign for him. We were supposed to be at the base at 8:30 am and he was to arrive at 9am. Well at 7:30 he called and said he would be there in 3o minutes! We jumped in the car and sped there only to be stopped in morning rush hour traffic. Needless to say we arrived around 8:15 or so and Dean arrived around 7:50. Oh well.

So that is the update on us!
