The Great Sketti Fiasco

We had spaghetti last night for dinner... Brian got it everywhere! It was such a mess. We got straight up from the table and right into the sink for a bath. It was even in his hair and ears! He loved it though!

He laughed so hard he....

FELL OVER! I submitted the video to America's Funniest Home Videos at the suggestion of others.

Baby or goat boy?

Brian's new favorite thing to play with is an old sock of mine! He likes to put it in his mouth and carry it around. Silly boy!

2008 Neptune Festival

We went to the Neptune festival this past weekend. It rained the whole drive there and as soon as we parked it stopped raining! We saw some of the art stuff but we mainly wanted to see the sand castles. I was a little disappointed. It seemed like they were better last year. I guess with the bad weather we had that week the artist had less time to work. They still looked good. After we looked at the sand sculptures we walked past the parade people. By that time it was getting really muggy and hot so we wrapped it up and headed for the car. We had a good time.

Prenatal Appointment- 17 weeks

I had a visit with the doctor today. The baby is doing great. She said it had a great strong heartbeat. I've lost 2 pounds since last month. They drew some blood today to test for Downs syndrome. The results come back in two days. The nurse said I had this test done last time but I don't remember doing it then. So keep your fingers crossed for good results. We go in two weeks to find out the sex!

NAS Oceana Air Show

We all went to the NAS Oceana Air Show this weekend. We left the house around noon and didn't get parked until close to2:45! We spent almost 2 hours on Oceana Blvd. We rode the shuttle from the front of the base to the back. We got there just in time for the last flights of the day. The Blue Angels were awesome! Brian liked watching the jets go over his head. We walked all over the flight line looking at planes and jets. Then it was time to leave. Everyone was leaving at the same time and the line for the shuttle was very very long! So Dean said we would walk.... That would have been ok if i wasn't pregnant and hot and tired. I think it was more like a 3 mile walk. Eventually we made it to the car. We had a blast but I don't think we will go next year. I think the next time we go the kids will be around 8. lol
